This week has been one of major economic and technological advancement for Halifax County.Monday, there was a ribbon cutting on a new research and education center, and Wednesday, the National Tire Research Center was unveiled in Alton. The center came about thanks to the efforts of Virginia Tech, VIR, General Motors and the Tobacco Commission. An tire testing machine of more than $11 million will bring vehicle and tire manufacturers from all over the world to Halifax County. It will bring jobs as well.Impact crusher also one kind of Vsi crusher.Motor drives rotor to rotate in high speed in the crushing cavity. The materials are feeded into the machine through the upper feeding opening and are striked, impacted, sheared and grinded by high speed moving. Under the bottom of rotor, it is equipped with sieve plate. Among the crushed materials fractions that is less than mesh size are discharged through sieve plate.Located in the Virginia Motorsports Technology Park right across from VIR is some of the most advanced technology in tire testing and research.Virginia Tech Transportation Institute Director Tom Dingus says the "Flat-Trac" testing machine will provide twice the capabilities of today's tire testing machines.
Funding from the Tobacco Commission and close proximity to the VIR made Halifax County an ideal location."We can do tire testing and then vehicle dynamic testing in the laboratory, and then put those tires and shocks on real cars and put them on the VIR," said Dingus. This is good news for the Southside economy. The nonprofit research center will generate $15 million within the first five years of operation and more than 150 new jobs by the year 2020."It'll bring administrative jobs, it'll bring technician jobs, it'll bring research jobs, it'll bring testing jobs," said Dingus.Congressman Robert Hurt, who spoke at the ribbon cutting ceremony, says he looks forward to the many opportunities that the new center will bring."The value of that research is so important so, it's an exciting day. It really is and it's a lot of people that should be proud of this accomplishment," he said.
The facility opens in January 2013, which means many of those 150 jobs will be up for grabs soon. The company's ties to Romney aren't the only disturbing ones we've seen with similar companies over the years. The fact is, that nobody other than the public should have any sort of control of our elections. The proprietary voting systems now in use in all 50 states, whether owned by Romney associates,You place your leather ipad case in the event and also you then place the handset around the tray. When the tray is attached to a wall plug your phone will begin charging. There you have it! There's also a USB port for powering/charging USB devices. I had been in a position to plug my iPhone into this port and charge it while using USB-to-30-pin wire. a George W. Bush associate (as with Diebold in 2004) or even a company tied to Venezuela's Hugo Chavez (as with Sequoia Voting Systems which blatantly lied about that tie to public officials,Stone crusher device can be divided into lots of sorts, according to workong principle, for example jaw crusher,Jaw crusher, cone crusher and so on. Stone crusher is 1 type of our principal goods. Our stone crusher device contains jaw crusher, impact crusher, cone crusher, VSI crusher, cellular crusher, hammer crusher and so on. and the Canadian firm Dominion which purchased Sequoia and also immediately lied about the fact that Intellectual Property of their voting systems used all across the U.S. is still owned by the Venezuelan firm), continue to be a grave threat to American democracy and confidence in U.S. Elections.
