GE gift of LED lighting for Public Square

The company has participated with Cleveland in its Winterfest lighting on Public Square for 50 years.Sylvester said the first phase of the permanent lighting upgrades at Public Square will be in place in time for Winterfest Nov. 24. The $125,000 in LED lighting, which produces the same brightness as other lights but uses less energy, will be for general illumination of the square.
