There will be snow: Buchanan leases machine for tubing event

Panicking because hardly any snow has fallen this season, Buchanan officials are rushing to save an upcoming tubing event by making their own snow.The Buchanan Commissioners Monday night voted unanimously to acquire a snow machine to save the "Thrill On The Hill," a tubing event on Front Street that was viewed as a success in its first run last year.This year's event is scheduled for Jan. 25-26.
