I had been wondering if the iPad mini would be the first Apple device that I'd use without any sort of skin or case – a device that would accumulate little dings and scratches to "add character"to the aluminum. But after a few weeks with the mini, I decided to pull the trigger on a Gelaskin, anyway. As much as I love the look of the slate back on my iPad mini, this new skin makes the whole device less slippery. I also wanted a bit more colour on my iPad, and while the red Smart Cover was just a little too eye-catching, the pastel colours on my "Tube Socks"Gelaskin are just right.
It took a few tries for me to align all of the button and port cut-outs properly, so it's great that the skin is so forgiving when it comes to applying it, peeling it off, and applying it all over again. I've had these "Tube Socks"on for a good two weeks now,Create cut frozen foods with your blades. Defrost the food inside the microwave first. avoid getting impatient! Never use region Motion sensor light to chop bone. Your knives can be used cutting and chopping. If you wish to cut bone then get a meat cleaver. and the fit is wonderful. The corners aren't showing any signs of peeling, I haven't had trouble with any buttons or ports, and the design is still in pristine condition. It has also come as a relief to be able to lay my iPad mini down on its Smart Cover or its back, and not worry at all about what might happen to the device.I'd say that a Gelaskin is even more useful on the mini than it is on a full-sized iPad, given that I take the mini to more places and lay it down on a greater number of surfaces. This "Tube Socks"Gelaskin is light, colourful protection, and I couldn't be more delighted with it. At $20, it's well worth the price.
